Opinions on Atlanta?

There is no single "Atlanta". If you live in Buckhead and work in Midtown your view of ATL is not the same as if you live on Bankhead and work in College Park. People who live in Roswell and Duluth call it Atlanta but the only time they cross 285 is to get to the airport. There are beautiful parts and crappy parts like any big city.

I was working on a 4 story building right next to the capital, When I witnessed a homeless woman crouched down and urinate in the middle of the sidewalk with a police officer walking right next to her.
I looked at the cop and told him he would arrest me if I did that.... He told me it was atlanta and what are you gonna do....that is all.

I see the cities some of you folks live in that say say Atlanta is a ****hol3, and for the life of me, cant understand why said people think their city is anything but a ****hole.

I'm not surprised that country folk don't like the city. I'm surprised at that outright hatred for it and for the people that live there. It's this type of hatred that is helping fuel the divide in our country.

This comment was given by Obama. If you look at Atlanta most people supported him and his anti American fundamentalism. So why would country people like the city. Sadly the majority of people that live in and control the cities for are an example of what is wrong with this country. Pretty much most major population areas vote left.

It's easy to hate people that think of you as a retarded redneck that shouldn't have a say and when they want to destroy all of the things that you hold dear. I personally dont hate them. I feel sorry for them. They live in a bubble.

Overall, I do hear less derogatory expressions from the left than I do the right though. Not as many calls for conservative tears. I feel more on the left have more sympathy and less hated for the right, especially for lower and middle-class conservatives.

Lower and middle class conservatives dont want your sympathy. They got it handled and are doing what they can to have a good life. All they want is to be left alone.

I avoid Atlanta like the plague. Nothing personal against the city I just hate anywhere that crowded.
