Safe queens

My grandfather and his brother each bought Colt 1903's to protect their turkey flock from thieves. They were new guns but I'm not certain of the year they bought them. His gun was made in 1924. It has the original finish and is beautiful in my eyes. I bet it hasn't had more than a box or 2 of ammo shot through it.

Wow. The finish on that pistol is unreal! That is one pistol that is on my want list! Very nice.
 
While I have a few Guns that might be considered "Collectible", I only have ONE that I am RELUCTANT to fire...That is a Smith & Wesson Model 26-1 GSP Commemorative in .45 LC, and the ONLY reason I haven't fired it YET is that it is UNFIRED & complete w/Wood Presentation Box, Paperwork, Original Cardboard Shipping Box, etc.--and IF I were to FIRE it, I could "De-Value" it by HALF--!!!
