I bought an annual range membership -- on discount -- as an incentive. I bought a bulk pack of ammo for a discount. I don't shoot much, but my goal is to finish the year "saving" money with the membership vs. paying for each range visit. I don't shoot a lot, just 50-100 rds, but enough to make sure I can hit a target and try to improve incrementally.
