So what was your first ride?

Looked like this. When I was 14 my dad needed a new truck so he told me to pick out what I wanted and he would drive it, for a year, then teach me to drive it for another year, then when I turned 16 it would be mine. Only took me till I was 17 to get in so much trouble that he took It back from me. Turns out a 16 year old doesn't need a V8 6 passenger truck after all. We kept that truck till around 300,000 miles and about 8 different people in our family used it before it was sold.

87 accord…🤮

Passenger door wouldn’t open all the way, 3 windows were a no go, windshield wiper handle switch thingy was broken so you had to stick something in the column to turn them on, no AC....but it was mine, and I drove the absolute crap out of it and put a dang good stereo in it lol. I will not post a pic of it so as to not get flagged and banned.

Mine was a 76 Celica similar to this one but with a white exterior. I was 16 years old and this was my ticket to paradise. Got me to school every day, work at the grocery store, and most importantly, my car for dating. It had the seat covers you would buy in a box from K Mart and a decent aftermarket stereo. I saw this on eBay Motors and it brought back a flood of memories.
