Springfield standard M1A accuracy out of the box.

I am a shooter. Always have been always will be. I do my best shooting with irons. Not a fan of glass on much of anything other than precision rifles.

Oh ho, sounds like what I use to say before my eyes started giving out on me...
You adapt or quit, even the BP gun has a scope nowadays and I hated scoping that one the worse.

There will come a day when no matter how hard you try to make that front sight sharp, no matter where you look through those progressive lenses (which usually work so well) , you just can't do it.

I've tried everything and fought like hell, but like I said earlier it's quit or adapt.
I just hate that good glass is so damned expensive!

Question , who isn using an adjustable cheek rest and which one? The ones that strap onto the stock versus drill and fasten with bolts.
I cannot bring myself to drill a walnut stock.
I think it will help my accuracy, consistent cheek weld.

Rock solid and no holes in the stock.

Also a fast take off if I need to go to the irons through the Sadlak mount.
