Still have dogs chasing deer on hunting property.

I think your going about it the right way. If one charges you though it may be time to take out the whole pack, if they are aggressive that's when the game changes. I won't shoot a dog for merely running deer though or being on property I'm hunting. I have had dogs run deer to me.
Agreed. The dogs are doing what their instincts tell them to do. When they turn their aggression toward you it's time to take matters into your own hands.

There are old time, tried and true methods for controlling feral canines loose on one's property. I had an old cattle farmer explain several to me once. They work 100%. Search out some old farmers and choose a method that is right for you and your property.

I could set my father in law up there.
He's an old farmer that shoots anything that moves.
If it's not a cow or a goat it's dead.
He's shot several pretty
Pets over the years including his own dogs....lol.
I don't hunt with him for obvious reasons.

Got even more visitors.

Was up there today checking things and noticed someone drove around the gate littered with no trespassing signs and video surveillance signs and tore up all the trails with dirt bikes.
Hope they come back when I'm there.
