Talk to me about night hunting

So I’ve got my first thermal scope on the way (Bering Optics Super Yoter 35), and would like to shoot some pigs and yotes.

Been all over YouTube and think I’ve got a decent idea of how I plan to setup but most of the thermal stuff out there is in large fields and out west. My property has a few 1-2 acre food plots, some areas along our road that stretch out 2-300 yards, and other than that is all wooded and hilly terrain in Hall county.

Can anyone share some local advice for a new night hunter looking for success out of the gate?

My property has more yotes than pigs, so that will be my main target.

for pigs just put out rotting corn and coolaid mix. Yotes, one of those furry dancing things with some good calls will bring them in fine if theyre in the area. You could also stake down an injured chicken or rabbit
