If you need to lay down a lot of lead in a very confined space it seems perfect but not very practical for anything else but it does have the "wow" factor.

Also think about how a prosecuter will paint you to a jury if you had to use it in a questionable defense shooting. "Gangster with a sawed off shotgun out looking for trouble". It's not fair but it's reality

I would not have one. One ignorant police officer could really ruin your year. Getting charged with it even though it is legal would really suck. Lots of officers have no clue.

I had a very similar thought. My wife agreed that all it takes is one ignorant cop and I would be the one to find said cop every time.

I built one a while back and it's a fun range toy, but even with a laser to aim I wouldn't use it for defense. Too low capacity and I aim better with a stocked shotgun.

I have no practical need for one but, I don't really have a practical need for a Colt Python or a Ruger Vaquero either but I always liked those kind of revolvers. I've always liked short shotguns too and this Shockwave looks pretty cool, I have an older full size 590 and really like it too. I'm thinking that Shockwave just made my top 5 list of stuff I want now. Lol!
