This will affect everyone on this site! New ATF rule says you have to have a license to sell just one gun

Do y’all even read the posts that you are referencing.
“Considered, but not proposed”

Kind like the thousands of bills proposed every day knowing they will go no where, political grandstanding and nothing else.

I swear, our “side” isn’t any better than the Marxist’s, when it comes to propaganda.

You beat me too it. This is not any kind of official rule. Not as of yet anyway.

All went down with the boat...

The fact that this isn’t a law aside, I don’t understand all the “boating accident” and “I don’t own any guns” comments. Denying you own or possess something that you have an inherent right to own is just conceding the government’s authority over you and nullifying your own rights.

I proudly own and possess firearms. Cold dead hands for me.

I've read through this and it seems like it's just what was already the "guidelines" set by the ATF. Didn't really see anything new, just they're trying to codify their position I guess.

Basically if you buy a Glock 19 and later decide you don't like it, or just need money you can sell it. I don't see where that has changed under this proposal.

But if you buy a Glock 19 at your local gun store for $450 and turn around and list it on ODT for $500 you're engaging in business that requires a license. Especially when you do that over and over again.

I use the Glock 19 as an example because we've all seen people that seem to have a Glock19 for sale every couple months. Or for a while it was S&W shields.

Not saying I agree with any of it, but there's a lot of hyperbole on this one.
