I got them from Cabelas, inside the bargain cave. They are the Cabela's brand snake boots. That was my first outing in them and I walked around 3.5 miles. They are comfortable.

Dang I'm ready for tomorrow morning. I may even be able to slip out a little this afternoon. I have made a few new turkey strikers this week out of pecan wood. They sound pretty good. Can't wait to get a turkey with one.
Good luck. That will be cool to call a turkey in with something that you made.
My Dad made all his own glass, slate and box calls. Thats next on the list for me but I'm starting out simple.
