Only two legs I gots is da ones I'm going to be making the 2 mile round trip hike to the lake for water with if it comes to it.
Is it really economical as compared to canned goods in the store? I understand as a skill for if canned goods are not accessible after SHTF, but for now isn't it still cheaper to buy cans than to buy food and can it? Or even cheaper overall than growing and canning your own?
KInd of like reloading after initial investment it's very economical, prime example dove hunting this weekend found three pear trees loaded. I asked farmer he said take alle you want. Wife canned 30 quarts of pears between Sunday and Monday. My cost was minimal only bought sugar already had jars pears were free.
