Try a heavier bullet

the .224 77gr bullets have excellent reviews for accuracy. but my 300 BO will not shoot them well.

What’s the barrel nut torque? I bet that’s the issue.

I have em all. Barret, C-Products, PRI, Pro Mag and Magpul. I like the alloy ones the best because I can get a heavier projectile in those. I haven't seen any performance difference between them. My guns eat from them all. The only time I have a problem is when my brass catcher get to heavy and then the brass won't eject only because of the weight strangles the opening. When that happens I dump the catcher and all is good. I figured you deserved at least one related answer.

I use the ones that come with the green tip ammo.
