What optics are you guys running on your HD/SHTF/TEOTWAWKI guns?

Me either, I'm just not crazy about a plastic flip up like the Magpul that came with it. Just kinda looks cheap, especially on a Colt or any good quality AR.

Good iron flip ups are high but they sho are purdy IMO

My Colt has the rear flip up but has the standard front post which is fine with me. I'll probably end up replacing the rear sight though with a detachable fixed sight like this from DD.

Holy smokes! Just looked up the Aimpoint micro sights, those ain't what I would call PO-BOY sights. Lol! Not as expensive as the ACOG optics though, maybe I need to bite the bullet and sell something I really don't have a "need for".

You should go ahead and grab that one. I'm in a fight with my insurance co. & a hospital right now, my wife had 2 heart attacks and those morons are refusing to cover any part of the bill. I won't be buying anything anytime soon. But thanks anyway.

Vortex Viper PST 1x4. My eyesight is not good with illuminated dots and these have an etched reticule. Which is a plus if the batteries fail.

Mostly Aimpoint with a 2 MOA dot, but I do have a couple EOTech and one Leupold 1.5-5 with a 1 MOA dot.
Of course I have functional iron sights.
