What pellet rifle is the quietist and accurate for eliminating suburban tree rats?

Looking for an air operated pellet gun that will not disturb the neighbors. I’ve never owned one but have plenty of C02 cartridges. What do you use?

a 22lr with super colibri will be quieter but is actually weaker than a pellet gun, but its still plenty for tree rats

agree with the super colibri if close range and can actually find them in stock....
may try large victor rat traps screwed to trees loaded with p-nut butter. I have a buddy in P-tree City uses that method cause all his neighbors are anti gun floks.

Most any of the models with a velocity of 1000 fps should be sufficient.

Most quiet, 22'' barrel 22 rifle using 22 long CB caps. All you hear is the firing pin strike, snap. Air rifle is noisier, maybe a pump rifle in 177 shooting less than 1000' per sec. You get above that, you'll get the sound barrier crack

I'll go with 22 CB caps. Really quit, much quieter than my thr pellet guns.
