I use a basic, reliable, milspec ar. Cheap to train with, cheap (it was) to feed, more accurate than I am truly capable of fully utilizing, and parts are plentiful. Handgun of choice is either my glock, for all the reasons above, or my 1911.

Nah- you can get by with any old AR or AK for a day or two.
