I wouldnt even wait a day........if they only said "I'll take it". Now if they left a number and said more, I might wait a day to speak with them to finalize the meet place and time.

I will only rely on messages received via PM as this starts the sale/purchase/trade process IMHO. If I get a "Ill take it with no PM, I will send a PM to the potential buyer, to work out details. If I get a responce, than I will consider the item sold once details are worked out, while letting the next members interested fall into a chronological order should the deal fall through

An "I'll Take It" with a PM that gives details and begins communication goes a long way with me. An "I'll Take IT (and I assume you check all your threads everyday and don't need a PM and will hunt me down for a week, this is just a placeholder, you are the devil if you don't give me a week to get the money)" is a whole different animal.

I agree that open and honest communication are the key.
