Who has used Maaco?

My significant other had Maaco paint and replace the bumper. It was suitable for the vehicle (older car, daily driver)

Seems like the people who are the most satisfied do their own prep work, fill in and rub out the dings, compound the entire car, and then wait a couple weeks after it is painted, then compound and wax the new paint.

Apparently it's a big mistake to compound the paint too soon.

Did business (2) two times my first and last time,they left off the trim, it was my late wife's car, she came home and told me they said they were busy just tell me to put it on myself. Got in car carried back drove up and blocked the front door where they could not leave through it and the took he mgr, and the painter out to the trunk, told them they had one hour to put the chrome and luggage carrier
back on or we would start telling the story to the other customers getting quotes, 34 minutes everything was solved and we left
would not let them paint my wooded kids wagon.....

No would not even park in their parking lot...
