seriously though its the bastard child of hybrid rounds. loss of capacity versus a 9mm, plus costs the same as .45 without the same umph being delivered. whats the point?

get 10mm if you're going that route

10mm is my favorite. The 10mm short is 2nd in line, 45 acp, then 9mm is last when it comes to semi-auto rounds. On average 155gr 40 has the velocity of a 115gr 9mm. 40 extra grains is a lot more energy. I believe I own more 40 than any other cartridge and up until about 6 months ago, I only owned 1 9mm just so I would have at least one.

Love the .41 magnum but I Can put 15 founds in my Glock 20, can't do that in my S&W 57.

Real reason. Glock can’t perfect a gun the size of a G19 that can handle the round. And so it’s fanboys must make up reasons for the round to suck
