Hands down the Winchester 24/26 is the best of the cheap safes (under $1000) in my opinion...

Anyone know the weight? When I got mine is said 600 lbs on mulitple sources now it says 507? Do they just estimate? For the "ts-22"

Sometimes it's the actual weight of safe, other times it's the ship weight box, docs, pallet....

0-0-0-0-0-0 yields a double beep.

1-2-3-4-5-6 after the 0-0-0-0-0-0 gives a triple.


Wasn't wrapped in cardboard. No paperwork was hanging on it. Nothing. Battery was already in the lock.

Sounds like they sold me a return or something.

I have 5 Winchester safes from TSC. They all worked the same when they were brand new. I think you are correct, they sold you a customer return. The TSC store should swap this out for you without any problem.

It does not. Have yet to be able to open.

When you get the 2 beeps, have you tried LOCKING the safe by turning it in the locking direction. Sometimes they get stuck between lock/unlock movement and you have to turn the handle to LOCK the safe, and then it will move in the unlock direction.

Just a suggestion.
