To be really honest I would love an SBR on an AR10 platform in 7mm-08 or 260 maybe. But I only have AR15 parts...

Okay, I missed the part about already having pistol lowers. If you have pistol lowers, it would be acceptable, because you have them, to have all upper parts to build another less than 18 inch barrel upper.
