You will never see in my collection these firearms

I'll take the Pepsi challange w/ any DD or BCM rifle. Oh BTW... I bought a PTAC PSA upper, w/ a PTAC BCG and put it on a CMMG lower & shot a Nickle size shot group at 75 feet at the Ga Firing line. ( open sights) w/ crappy 55 grain ammo. I just dont buy into the whole You need to buy a $1500 AR in order to get a good gun...

Accuracy is not the primary indicator of quality in an AR15. The design is pretty inherently accurate, as is the round. I can shoot Nickle size groups at 25 yds (75 ft) with my $89 Marlin Model 60 .22lr. What does matter regarding quality in an AR is whether or not it runs. Otherwise, a single shot or bolt action is way cheaper. What you're paying for is higher quality components and higher QC measures to ensure that the machine runs, and that it runs reliably under adverse conditions. Staking your castle nut doesn't matter...until it comes loose, dumps the spring and detent from the rear takedown pin, and now your gun won't stay together...yep, seen it happen on the range. Staking your bolt carrier key screws doesn't matter...until then work loose, create a leak path for gas, potentially shear off, and now you have a bolt-action again.

None of it matters, save all the money you want...until something goes wrong and now your machine doesn't work.

Or, be smart, pay a little more for good QC/materials and have the odds in your favor that the machine is going to work.

I have a DTI bolt carrier around here in one of my boxes that burns through a set of gas rings on the bolt after a mag or two. It will still fire, but I know the rings are shot. If I shoot it until it starts failing I can get 150 rounds or so out of it before I have to rering the bolt.

Shhhhh! They're all the same remember.

There are a number of ARs on the market that could arguably be considered overpriced for what you're getting. However, DD, BCM, Colt and KAC would not fit in that category. Yes, they're more expensive. No, they are not the same as your, cmmg, RRA, bushmaster, etc. Higher quality barrels, correct gas ports, higher QC throughout. Period. And if you think they're all the same, well, you've either not been paying attention to the dozens of "help me, my AR broke" threads posted here on a regular basis OR you're in denial and attempting to make yourself feel better about buying an inferior product. Nothing wrong with buying a $600 gun if it's a range toy, but don't think for a second that you will see equivalent performance over time. The only exception to this may be PSA, who offers alot of quality for the money. But their QC still isn't a match for the ones I listed above. Time=money.

Still think they're all the same? Pull your head out of the sand and look around:

And one more...
These are just recent examples. Plenty more out there for someone willing to take the time to do the research and educate themselves instead of being spoon fed everything.

One more thought. You can get a complete BCM rifle for about $1105.

16" upper with KMR 13 rail, hammer forged barrel, BCM compensator AND bcg = $755
http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-...d-KMR-KEYMOD-p/bcm-urg-mid-16lw-bfh-kmr13.htm

BCM complete lower with BCM Gunfighter Mod0 stock = $350

So remind me again why that's not the best value in the entire AR market?

Because I can get two of these for one of those. Bushmaster, Blackwater, Iraq, Travis Haley, Al Najaf...what more do you need to know?

...joking, of course. Seriously guys, Mtdawg is spot on. BCM is killing it for quality/value in the AR market!
