    Usually I have had good luck with the mail. I send a buddy in Illinois stuff a lot. Always takes 2 days either way. This time I mailed on Friday and was supposed to deliver yesterday. This is the first time I saw Palmetto in tracking. It is now doing a tour of the country.

    I bought a new Dodge in 83. Came with a 5/50000 and I bought factory extended on it. After to original was up nothing was ever covered. Won’t buy another.

    I have a 36 and a 29. Bought the 29 at Franklins in Athens during a “cost” day sale in February of 93. $249. Wish I could get a new one now for that. It was my first revolver purchase. A few weeks later I bought the 36 from a older relative for $150. I cherish them both.

  5. So, home with the flu or whatever

    Wife positive for flu last Friday. Saturday I started getting sinus drainage and coughin. Sunday and Monday I was awful. Drainage moved to chest. Slight headache and deep chest cough. Haven’t been sick in years. No appetite. Don’t really feel bad just coughing and no appetite.

    Nothing like a 4 day weekend to do projects around the house

    Only had a kidney stone once. It was stuck in my pecker. Intense pain. Trip to doc for some flomax. Drank cranberry juice mixed with moonshine for almost 3 days before it popped out. Oh what a relief that was. As for projects I aint doing ****. May get my tractor out tmrw to play a bit. Love...

    Prices are crazy. I don’t believe the government 8% bs. Grocery prices are up 50 to 100%. FJB. My local mom n pop place gone up about $.40 for a sausage biscuit but they are still the same size.

    Ok I’m gonna have to hit Hucks soon. Clocked maybe Sunday afternoon. I always liked the big fries at the Grill. Don’t think they have them anymore. Hey for what it’s worth the Wing House Grill in Hull has some good burgers so I would think the one in Normaltown does too. Thanks

    Is Hucks that good? Been driving by that place for 30 years but never stopped. The Grill was good but haven’t been in years. Clocked is on my list to try.

    Buying rebuilt or reman parts from AutoZone...

    Late 80’s. It took 3 water pumps before I got one that didn’t leak. Now I’m all about OEM parts. Yes the are more money.

    I did a motor/pump rebuild maybe 10 years ago for less than $400. It was in a crawl space under the house. Worst part was watching a black snake go up a wall while I was under there and not seeing where it went. $3800 is crazy.

    PSA: B&B charcoal SUCKS.

    I have had my eggs for 12 years. BGE was/is made by RO. I’ve tried alot of different brands and have always gone back to Royal Oak. It just seems to burn more consistently to me. B&B and Cowboy was the worst. Just lighting up with a torch made it like 4th of July with sparks and popping.
