I used to fly with a guy who was an AC130 spectre gunship pilot. He said that he would try to hold it in a steady orbit over the target but when that 105 mm howitzer cut loose he could feel the entire aircraft shift sideways.

C130 - Worked on allot of them..... they are just keeping the engines lubed.

Up 6” and out 36” lol. My first jump was St Mere Eglise at 0100 or so.
