So I have the trust completed, and am getting ready to purchase first suppressor. I read somewhere that if you send a money order, in the name of the trust, it will create less problems in the approval process. Whereas a personal check can cause problems. (This is based off of using the Trust)

any advice?

Also, if I understand correctly, I have to take the original document in with me, but they will ask to make a copy? does it make it easier if I take my own copy and original?

Take your original copy of your complete trust in with you when you purchase AND a copy of it. Send the COPY in with the form to the ATF.

As far as checks, I am on my fourth item and have used a check from my bank account each time. ATF has had no problem with that any time. As someone said above, just so they get their money. Although some persons have been know to debate the legalities of using a personal check, the ATF doesn't seem to mind..
