ACC Championship

Anybody making the trip to Charlotte for the game this weekend? What do you think our Jackets' chances are?

All kidding aside, I'm pulling for Tech. I think you can score on them. Just not sure the Tech D can stop FSU often enough.

I expect another typical FSU game, GT may have the lead at halftime. While GT could win I doubt they do win.

Playing the ACC championship at night in Charlotte in December on an outdoor field is galactically stupid though. My SC home is only an hour from Charlotte and I'm very familiar with the weather in December - it's generally miserable.

I'm with you on this one. Jacksonville wasn't much better when I went down there a few years back to watch the GT vs. Wake ACC Championship snoozefest in the cold rain. I thought Tampa was a much better location plus you have a Hard Rock Casino in town. With the ACC expansion including all the northern teams, I get why they moved it to NC but I don't think it is exactly convenient for them either.

2 weeks ago, I was predicting UGA would run over the Jackets like they normally do but Tech would turn it around the following week to beat FSU. I'm even more encouraged after last week's game. Watched most of FSU's games and they just really don't look that good. If GT can control the time of possession, I think they will be the ones to finally beat FSU.

I'm pulling for Tech. FSU usually starts slow and that is an edge for GT. Tech can limit the number of possessions FSU has by running the ball. FSU won't have all of the opportunitys to come back as they have done in the past. It is supposed to rain tomorrow so that may play into Tech's favor with the running game.
I hope for a good game
