AKs were always ugly, crudely made, and reliable; but they still were priced low enough to be a bargain. Recently, I have noticed on ODT that they are still ugly, crudely made, and reliable.

When Aks were cheap I always had one. When AKs are more expensive than better rifles I will never own one.
