Any of you guys "running" a dashcam?

I'm liking these 2.

So could i technically get 2, one for the front and back? Or does it specifically have to get one made for the rear facing?

Typically you buy a 2-channel dash cam that supports a rear camera.

My only advice is, don’t overthink this just grab one they are pretty cheap on Amazon. Get one that has a removable memory card.

Vantru is what I've got and I've caught some pretty nice close calls and wrecks. One was used to determine accident fault in January when I got hit.

Some also have motion detection so that can video when your car is parked

I travel a good bit and started using the dashcam. I purchased the unit from Best Buy and it is their store brand. Works great and could save so much he said she said in case of an accident . Highly recommend.

They’re cheap enough, don’t give yourself “analysis paralysis”. Grab one today and get on with life. That wreck that the dash cam is going to prove the other guy was at fault may happen tomorrow. I guarantee you’ll find a better one cheaper the minute you put it in your car no matter what.
