Anybody still lubin' with the frog?

I should have known a simple question on the ODT is anything but! I appreciate everyone's feedback. I think I'm going to pass on it and give away the small tub I've got to someone that loves it.

I love it, give it to me.

The biggest draw for FL for me is that I can just wipe down the pistols with a clean rag once I shoot them. I use FL on my 1911's mostly.

The AK's and anything that might shoot corrosive get a different treatment.

You have to put it on with a heat gun and blow off all the excess, and then wipe it down before you put it back together. Once I started using the heat gun, it worked perfectly.

Because..

Froglube is designed for use in low RPM, low heat, deli slicers. Not firearms.

Cobalt 60, I use Mobil 28 grease on all of my pistols mixed with just a dab of Mobil 1. The grease doesn't seep out from the pistol. I typically use grease on my pistols and Mobil 1 on my shotguns and rifles.

I'll have to pick some of that up. Pretty common at auto parts stores?

I had FL on a BCG that turned into a tacky, hard to remove film. Very well could have been my fault, but I just chose to move away from it. It never caused any issues in my pistols, but I just like to keep to one lube.

Saying "lube" so much in one thread sounds gay.
