Beretta clay target models do not have auto safety.
The auto safety on the field models can be changed to manual safety by most gunsmiths or if you are handy there are you tube videos with step by step instructions.
I'm cheap so l didn't care for the price tag but..Why? Cost? Fit?
I was about to say, my SPIII certainly doesn't have auto safety lol. It's a 30" with forcing cones lengthened and magna ported, and it still doesn't shoot half as well as my Guerini.Beretta field models have auto safety.

Very true. But thats pricey. They sell an adjustable butt that goes on your stock. You have to cut them down some though to put it on.Both models (factory stock) are excellent for your stated purpose. However the best results are achieved when the gun stock is professionally "fitted" to the shooter.
