Is it illegal to buy a gun from someone across state line,I mean a guy in south Carolina is selling a gun and I'm a georgia resident can I just go up there and buy it from him or what? THANKS

Meet at the nearest FFL in the purchasers state. Or have that person ship the gun to an FFL of your choosing in your state. Be sure to check what requirements the FFL wants from the shipper before it is shipped. (Copy of ID or what not)

Nope. A ffl can sell long guns to residents of neighboring states, but individuals are supposed to do a ffl transfer on any interstate sales.

EDIT: My friends neighbors cousins dope dealers brothers step daddy works for the ATF and he told me....
