Cancer runs in my family as well. Its the number one thing I fear the most. Prayers sent for them.

My Mother had 3 brothers. One died about 10 years ago of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. It was bad. Now she is about to lose another brother to colon cancer that has metastasized everywhere. End stage, he's receiving hospice care at home. They are just managing his pain.

This is a man who almost always has a gap-toothed smile on his face, is super smart and quick with the jokes. Usually dirty ones. He was healthy all his life, almost never went to the hospital much less spent the night in a hospital bed. Was hurting, knew something wasn't right and did not see the doctor until late late. What's more, his robust immune system actually worked against him during the treatment he received.

I'm not used to doing this. I'm asking for prayers for Uncle Billy, his wife, son and daughter. And also for my Mother, who is taking this really hard. I am fairly certain prayers would be better received if they came from her, but mine will have to do for now. Thanks for listening.

Thank you for keeping the prayers rolling in. My Mom has been doing a lot of crying, don't really know what to do. Showed her that "Malk" video I posted, and a couple others. Dumb I know, but she got a laugh out of them.
