As ya'll can tell by my avatar and signature line, I'm a huge dog lover. We have four 4 legged kids in our house and love every minute of it. Here's a picture of one of my boys. Ivan is a soft coat Wheaten Terrier. In my opinion, if you're looking for great family dog that's good with kids, a Wheaten Terrier is an excellent choice. They do need a good size yard to run around burn some energy, but when they're worn out they love to climb on your lap and love on you. They're fun, goofy, and all around a great breed.
