Never heard of this, don't think they ever check the "data base for GWL" on traffic stops. I would never tell I was carrying and would never hand my GWL over with my license. Just creates more problems. Police don't pull you over for suspicion of carrying,

Here's the deal. You give a inch, they are trained to take a mile.

So any detailed answer you give or volunteered information will always lead to another question more intrusive or a more intrusive action regarding your rights.

Be respectful and polite. Answer only the questions asked with short answers if required and make sure you inquire for the reason you're in that situation at all.

I usually just flash them my Hollywood video VIP card and ask them if they know who they are dealing with.
