An accurate bullet is still an accurate bullet, I don't care if it comes out of a 30 year old Savage or an issued Barrett. Just because it isn't Tacticool to you doesn't mean it can't do the job of defending your home. The guy who gets shot with the Savage or Remington isn't going to complain about the rifle that shot him.

Plus not every person outside your group needs to be a target, this is still the United States & not a war zone. You don't need a "unit rifle".

i must be one those with mixed up chemicals or a candy arse but skin so soft although ok for no see ums has never worked for mosquitoes nor ticks. Only thing that keeps tick off me is the yellow can permanone. And I used a boatload of it quail guiding. (maybe that's my chemical problem.... spraying it on my skin too much.
