Elementary school Shooting in Texas.. 13 Dead

Maybe Defund the Police wasn’t such a bad idea? Why fund them if they are cowards?
This is actually what was the objective of DFTP. They were spending millions of Tax dollars for Military type equipment and using it against even peaceful protesters.

The Defund was actually a reduction of the over spending and restructuring the Tax dollars to do things like have trained professional respond with them to ppl having mental crisis instead of showing up escalating and killing ppl who were not even armed that were not a threat at the time to anyone when they arrived on the scene. They also wanted to redirect the funds to De-escalation police training, and things like summer camps and programs for kids again. Things like the Police Athletic league.

The result was there were Radical on both political side who went to far scaring ppl into thinking there would be No police force, which was untrue. Then the other side also who had taken it too far and call for no police at all.

We light them up here without them even have any weapon, having responded with a team of 10 officers at the scene with 3-4 weapons each on them.

A'int that the truth.

They never had a problem ripping the door out of the frame for 4 oz. of pot.
You can end up in a wheel chair for just having a cell phone recording and excising your right to record in public by just not following a command that violates your rights in the 1st place. And a cell phone is Not a illegal substance. But it can provide a document of police abuse in the act.

Depends, my grandson was adjudicated a “designated felon” he’s 22. Background shows he is a felon, but not what it was for.
Depends on the offe

So here is a dumb question....if you are arrested as a juvenile, does that arrest record prevent one from purchasing a firearm, or two, when the juvenile turns 18?
in Georgia, and most states, a juvenile can be charged as an adult for certain serious crimes, and be sentenced as an adult. In that case, it's a felony conviction.

Otherwise, juvenile felonies don't show up on your record. One reason drug dealers use juvvies as runners.

Also in Georgia, you are only a juvenile until age 17, so from 17-18 you are treated as an adult.

Technically, unless charged as an adult, a juvenile is not "convicted" of a crime, he or she is "adjudicated' delinquent, an archaic, late Victorian concept.

He was not charged as an adult, but the judge only went with that because he could designate him as a designated felon.

The whole explanation here https://www.georgiacriminallawyer.com/designated-felonies-in-georgia-juvenile-courts.

The most important part…

“In sum, Designated Felony cases in Georgia are extremely serious and can derail a child's entire life. A child who is sent to a juvenile detention center loses out on educational and social opportunities and, perhaps most importantly, the opportunity to spend his or her teenage years with his or her family. He or she misses out on many of the important developmental milestones in a teenager's life. This can have an effect that lasts well beyond the period of incarceration”
This still shows no my GSs background checks and NCIC

Might be wrong, but it is what it is.
