Anecdotal: In more than 35 years of loading, shooting, collecting, etc., and having owned hundreds of rifles, I have had (and still do) one single rifle that will make one ragged hole only a little larger than the diameter of the bullet at 100, yards from sand bags on a bench with no coffee that day. One.

I don't have any that good, but I hope to encounter one one day!

What I can't figure out is why people don't demand proof. You're charging big bucks for some supposedly accurate rifle? Meet me at Gunsite Hills, show me, and I'll pay you and for the range time. Otherwise, it's your treat.

Well why don't you just shoot at the 1yd mark with that rifle.
The standard is 100yds and you will more likely choke LOL cause if you can't do it you will have to give me your rifle so are you on I am willing to bet.

I think if you bet you'd buy his rifle if he can produce a one hole group at 50 yards he'd take that bet. Somehow I doubt you're getting an ultimate rifle for free if he can't.

May not drive tacks but I have a few rifles that shoot nice tight groups a Winchester WRA Garand, Springfield M1A loaded and my Polytech M14S

Only 25 Meter zero but good enough for me.

How is it that this one member on here is the only one that everytime he puts a long gun up for sale, sail, sell, cell it a tack driver and will shoot it own hole out.

Well dam I bet if i gave him my warped ten gauge he could still shoot the bullseye out at 1000 yards or shoot through the same hole shot after shot.

No. The point the OP was making is that a certain member posts stock rifles for sell and every single one is claimed to make one hole only. You want groups? Go to the Shamrock Nationals in Dublin, GA.
