I am starting to learn how badly i SCREWED UP!

Years ago a crazy man shot and killed a couple at the Americus WM. After that, they started escorting you out of the store to your vehicle, at least they did me with a 1022. And don't even try to buy ammo with a firearm. Unless this has all changed. After a waiting period, if your NICS isn't denied, don't they have to let you have the firearm ?

wanted to buy ammo once there and the counter worker saw my pistol and said he couldn't see me the ammo because i had a firearm. I told him he bullets were the wrong caliber and wouldn't fit so he sold them to me, Walmart employees aint he brightest some times

In the 90's I got "delay" every time anyone ran a background check on me. I had my brother pull my criminal background check and there was an FBI "file number" on it from an investigation in 1985 for my security clearance interviews (with locals, family, etc.). I wasn't the only Army Officer to which this happened regularly.
No ****? Well that kind of explains a lot for me..I always delay with NFA but obviously not anything else I can get with a Permit

Same thing happened to me, lol. One of the perks of having a TS-SCI I guess.

I had a delay from CMP trying to buy a Garand, even though I had all the credentials, have a C&R FFL, and a conceal carry permit, still could not get my junk approved through them and had to buy from a dealer.

I’ve bought from Walmart in the past. I don’t think Walmart is the problem...it usually the rocket scientist behind the counter. Some times you get a good one and sometimes you get someone who isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer. Look for the older retiree who works at Walmart part time to supplement retirement - they will get you squared away.

Best is when the very few times i got 22 ammo, they ask if for a rifle or pistol and i say both
