If you had an hour to chat

If you could sit on this park bench and chat for just one hour with anyone, past or present, who would it be?

My parents are still living, so for me, I think I'd want to talk with one of my ancestors who fought in the War of the Revolution.

My Grandfather, who was a WW-2 Veteran. He died before I could meet him.

My great-great grandfather who rode with the 2nd Georgia Cavalry Company G during the war for Southern Independence. Joined in late 1861 and was captured at the battle of Natural Bridge in 1865. Fought at Franklin, Chickamauga, Kennesaw, Atlanta and Natural Bridge. Amazingly both him and his younger brother survived.

Jesus.
He could relay my messages to anyone I'd be interested in.

If He was busy, definitely my parents. As the youngest, I feel cheated out of too many years. But I suppose quality made up for quantity.

Amen, well said. I guess mine would be my grandfather on mom's side. He passed away in 77 when I was just 12 years old. Never forget that day, my aunt come to school early that morning , hadn't been there long, and by the look on her face I knew it was bad.
