Blackhorn 209 isn't corrosive I do not think and doesn't get near as dirty as other BP or subs.

It can't be too difficult to cut this can off that BP rifle and re-attach it to a modern gun.

It would still be harder and more expensive than just ordering a "solvent trap" online

And btw I've been using BP Bore Butter for over a decade to keep my silencers clean. I've never tumbled, dipped, or scrubbed with anything more than a toothbrush.

Great idea using Bore Butter. I have been using a Teflon spray that seems to keep the powder build up down and easier to clean. I guess the bore butter would be almost like shooting it wet.

Yeah the bore butter is similar to shooting it wet. If you put enough on, it will eliminate the first round pop. I've also bought some spray on Anti Spatter to test, but I just haven't had much of a chance.
