So I picked up my new project today. 77 Suzuki GS750 in amazing condition for an almost 40 year old bike. My plan is to do a few things while it is running and driving, then in the winter i will strip it down to the frame. Maybe to a front end swap with the goal of a cafe style bike. First set of pics are when i got it back to my shop and the second set is after a couple hours of work.

great buy..IMHO i would take as much off as possible keep it close to original..these bikes despite the asking price do have increasing value..keep all your parts

Exactly what I was thinking when I saw this one listed. I get excited about a project, and I had to remember that I don't want a motorcycle.

This. If you REALLY want to molest something, I have an '81 GS titled frame that would be a much better start for a cafe build than that old tourer.
