I'm terribly sorry but you had a little more time with him than you thought . I know that's no consolation but it's at least something.
Deepest sympathies, richs. Fifteen years ago, I took in a homeless mutt from the streets of east Atlanta. She was so grateful. Two weeks ago today, I had to say goodbye to my best friend. Your story and that damn "If I could talk" video brought back the tears.

That sucks I had to put my best friend to rest last September after 17 years, Glad you gave him a good home for the time you had him.

Sorry for your loss. After a while there will be another one that you can give a great home to. I am 56 and have constantly had dogs since I was 8. I have 4 now but can remember each and everyone. There are so many dogs out there that would love to be your next pet.
So sorry you're losing a vest friend, thanks for giving him/her the better life he/she deserved.
