so i have been fishing all of my life, mostly bass fishing. i have finally been able to purchase a formal fiberglass bass boat, and have been working on it getting all of the compartments to my liking, and getting the casting decks just like i want them to be. past this, i am lost. i am having trouble understanding how tournaments work.
open tournaments? weekend series? touring series? can someone help me make sense of this stuff please. i have a friend that i work with who does alot of bass fishing as well, though he doesnt have a tournament worthy boat, and he will be going to fish with me at the tournaments since i figure with him in the boat it would be almost like having kvd on your team.
so where do i need to start at, to get into fishing tournaments? i have no interest in trying to make a living fishing, and it is just something to do on the weekends or if i get an extra day off work.
