One Gun - What would you choose?

One gun - probably a Remington 870 12 ga.
Pistols? -
Probably an all-steel 9mm because of the availability of the ammunition (my preference would be a CZ 75 or 85 or Beretta 92fs.
If ammunition available...I would take an East German Makarov any day (reliability factor).

Funny lots of the posts or even most of them are all about the SiG P-Series and down on the 1911

But most of the VOTES are going to the 1911

.... Seems like there may be some closeted 1911 queens lurking.....

Between the two I'd go 220 unless the 1911 was a really high dollar Ed Brown or something of that magnitude.

Reasoning being that I think the Sig would run better and it doesn't have a safety.

But neither are my first choice.

Pretty sure the one pistol would be the CZ SP-01 Tactical or the CZ SP-01 Shadow -2.
the CZ 97 would be in the running except I would get tired of carrying all that heavy 45 acp ammo around.
