I do have an odd request.
We are planning on building a garage and apartment .
we have two very large poplar trees that are in the footprint and will have to go.
do you process other peoples trees ?
Or are trees from residential property full of nails ?
We like to use some of the tree to make a butcher block or something , but also read that it has to be kiln dried or it will warp and crack ?
The suppliers I deal with said as long as folks pay the higher prices, they'll stay high. There's been no real reason for the increase except, they say everyone overpaying for dumb stuff and as long as lumber is moving, the price will stay up
Yeah we dont usually cut other peoples trees. But an cut you some lumber from our logs.
Undried lumber will warp and crack. It doesn't have to be kiln dried but takes a long time for it to dry without a kiln. Sometimes you get lucky and it won't but I would hate to put a lot of time and energy into something with that type of risk.
We buy every week sir.
Last winter it was 8 and change, this last year it's been terrible!
What about 4x4's or AWD vehicles? I am in need of one. Thanks.
