I know that alot of times details can be cloudy in the beginning, but could it have been a self defensive shooting?

Not unless you consider shooting an unarmed man once in the chest then after hes on the ground 3 more times then reloading self defense. No sir, this was an out of control off duty drunk cop.

Gotta have a devil's advocate. If the cop indeed did go out to his car and retrieve a weapon and return to the inside of the bar then self defense isn't even in the question. We will have to see what happens with the justice system.

Looks like now he had it on him all along. Had it out waving it and touting that since he was a cop he could do whatever he wanted to.
