Well, remember that BATF ruled many years ago that not only could you put the buffer tube of an A.R. pistol up against your shoulder and fire it that way, but you could even put a rubber cane tip on the end of that buffer tube -- so that when you prop the rifle against the wall it wouldn't slide out and clatter to the floor .
If a rubber cane tip is OK then maybe some kind of non-slip pad on the back end of this arm brace would be OK.

I'd get a stamp. Braces are for peasants and crooked teeth.

To each their own but I will not own a weapon that I have to submit for approval to take to our lake house across state lines. AR pistol is the way to go for me.

Just a little taunt. I see the value in a brace. I used one here or there while waiting on stamps. If I built another I would have a hard time not doing it again because I'd be going for the carry handle.
