Shootings lately

Is it just me or more shootings happening lately.everytime the news comes on their it is some one has been shot.2 security guards claiming to be police officers shot a man off the property they were guarding.the media is really eating it up,protesters marching on the court houses wanting gun laws repealed.protesters everywhere for the fla.shooting.who knows where this will end.
