The workforce was doubled by pressing women into it. Rent is 1500 a month because inflation is skyrocketing thanks to all the gubm't handouts. Same reason eggs and milk are sky high. The actual living wage hasn't kept up at all with inflation. Federal minimum wage is still $7.25 an hour. Sure some markets pay $20 an hour, but even making that much you won't have much left over after $1500 a month rent, groceries, and utilities.

that was my point. as you try and fix inflation by driving up labor costs, you increase inflation beyond the pay increase....
it was just simplified for someone using "boomer bob" in their post.
if said "boomer Bob" owns the company, he can do as he pleases. mostly because he built it. he employs people, he is the one with all the stress of making sure all the employees are payed and have a way to take care of their families....
the problem is when ,"millennial man bun" thinks they are owed more because they are getting paid to do a job.
go to work, work hard, get more money.
dont expect to go to work, expect to be paid top dollar, play on your phone, tell everyone how "you know how to do it better", complain because you need to be on time, complain your expected to do a job, cry and quit. then tell everyone how the job mistreated you...
this in a Gen X prospective on whats going on. but then again, we show up, work hard, and try and build a future.
maybe we have it all wrong, maybe we are owed a future by everyone. maybe we deserve more than our work value, maybe the wind should always blow are way and the warm sun should always be on our back......
