USPS - Anybody else having trouble?

I just had an Artem Sailcloth watch strap shipped via DHL from Adelaide, Australia to Alpharetta - ordered Monday, delivered today - 5 days total - 10k miles.

My last eBay purchase shipped from Baltimore spent more than a week in South Atlanta - private enterprise is ALWAYS more efficient than government.

I just read all the posts here--took about an hour. Like the rest of you, same situation with a dozen items I've purchased on Ebay for the past 2 months. A simple poster in a cardboard tube was mailed 28 Feb. and finally reached me the day before yesterday--28 days with the USPS, and no updates after 3 March until suddenly the day before it was delivered. I called them today about two other parcels that are stuck in Palmetto; one of them was mis-sent up to Aiken, SC (I'm near Acworth, GA) with no updates since 19 March. Too many items have been delayed/late to go into here. About a year ago, the USPS consolidated several shipping options into "Ground Advantage". I think a much better/more accurate name for it would be "Someday Delivery". "Choose Someday Delivery and your parcel is guaranteed to be delivered in about a month, or so, maybe!"

Here is a great article on why the USPS is so bad: https://www.savethepostoffice.com/the-mail-slows-down-again/

Here’s something from usps about the new facility that is causing all the issues. They just mentioned what zips will go through it and what will by pass and some more things, information related… https://postalpro.usps.com/node/12774
