Those kidneys pull a premium in Thailand!I would give a left kidney for that 357
Maybe an AR15 or a RIA 45 + $$ would look better in your hand....hint hint nudge nudge :-0{)Those kidneys pull a premium in Thailand!
I'm a sucker for revolvers with unfluted cylinders, and the overall package of the 686P 3" just balances out so well.
It's the only example of a .357 in my collection. I bought a few hundred rounds of factory loads, a 500ct box of Xtreme plated 158gr bullets, a set of dies, and the Altamont grips shortly after picking it up.
My history still goes way back with .44 Mag though, so the 686P is a rarely used oddball for me.
With the year coming to a close, it’s time to ask:
What was your favorite gun purchase this year?

I was late to the rattler game but I’m glad I picked this thing up! Super cool little package that fills a gap in my equipment.
Ooooh 1911s are my weakness but I do believe I'm all gunned out at the moment lol! Current focus is glassing a few rifles and possibly putting a DA Ghost 45 on the waiting list. If I can reach past my 629 one of these days and grab the 686P for range fun, I'd love to see what I could cook up for reloads. Definitely easier on the powder supply than .44 Mag hahaMaybe an AR15 or a RIA 45 + $$ would look better in your hand....hint hint nudge nudge :-0{)
Just saying.....
